US stocks up after Trump’s win

U.S. stocks rose on Wednesday after President-elect Donald Trump won the presidency.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 2.5% to 20,741.10 points, while the S&P 500 index added 1.4% to 2,834.25.

The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 1.3% to 6,638.10.

Dow and S&P gained 1% and 1.2%, respectively.

The S&p 500 index is up 14.3%.

Shares of Apple rose 7.4%, while shares of Microsoft and Cisco were up 1.7%.

Shares in Facebook rose 6.6%.

The Nascent stock market rose 7%.

The Dow rose 7% and the S.&amp.

P. gained 3.7% in after-hours trading.

The index is a measure of the performance of the Dow Jones industrial average.
